Artist Bio
Jennifer Wabano is an Omushkegowuk Cree Artist from Peawanuck, Ontario. She grew up seeing family members sewing and beading, making art from various furs and caribou hides. Jennifer had a few mentors to teach her the skills in her teenage years and has made numerous masterpieces throughout the years. Her inspirations are her children and grandchildren, and her grandmothers stories. Miss Wabano makes a wide range of art including beaded tufted earrings, mitts, mukluks, hats, and more.
