Artist Bio

Anne Bell, a South Slavey descendant and proud Fort Nelson First Nation (FNFN) member from Northeastern British Columbia, has honed her art for over 35 years. Inspired by her family and Native traditions, her work reflects a deep connection to the land and its creatures, embodying FNFN's identity as "People of the Land." Currently, under the name Wilder Creations, she crafts traditional native pieces while co-managing a family cattle ranch. Additionally, Anne is a beekeeper and creates natural soaps and salves, using locally sourced ingredients. Her leisure time is spent outdoors, engaging in hunting, foraging, gardening, and camping.

Currently, Anne is busy carrying on the art of traditional native crafts under the name Wilder Creations while helping operate her family run cattle ranch. She is also a beekeeper and creates soaps and salves; harvesting and foraging many of the ingredients for the surrounding area. In her spare time she enjoys being out on the land hunting, foraging, gardening and camping.
