    ELIAS JADE NOT AFRAID

    Elias Jade Not Afraid is a member of the Crow Nation in Lodge Grass, Montana. He is a self-taught bead artist who began with the two-needle appliqué technique at the age of 12. He later expanded his skills by learning other beading techniques throughout high school. In 2016, he participated in his first art market—the Santa Fe Indian Market—and has attended every year since, selling out each time. His work is part of the permanent collections at the Smithsonian and The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Elias has collaborated with brands such as Crate & Barrel, Wells Fargo Bank, and Manitobah. His art has also appeared in InStyle Magazine, Native American Art, Metalsmith, Uppercase Canada, and both American Vogue and British Vogue.
