Meagan's Story: Meagan Anishinabie is an Oji-Cree artisan from Sandy Lake First Nation in northern Ontario, Canada. She learned the art of beadwork from her Kookum, Minda, and specializes in the traditional mukluk style of beadwork, using felt and the furs her husband traps. Meagan takes pride in preserving her culture through her art and draws inspiration from her community. She continues to inspire others with her art, and her work serves as a testament to the rich and vibrant traditions of the Oji-Cree people.
