A true original.

If we had to pick our most iconic mukluk (not an easy task)—the Metis might just be it. From its careful construction and suede-and-fur exterior to its signature beadwork, the Metis is steeped in tradition.

Though many Indigenous peoples used flower motifs, the beaded floral pattern that adorns this Made-in-Canada beauty is a defining cultural symbol of the Metis—whom the Dakota Sioux and Cree called the “Flower Beadwork People.”

But can something so beautiful also be practical? Absolutely. With its supportive and flexible Vibram Tipi sole, sheepskin footbed, and sturdy fur-lined exterior, the stunning Metis will carry you through winter in warmth and style.

This product fits true to size.

Métis Mukluks Most Beautiful

I bought several pair of mukluks this year. I love them all, bought Métis mukluk in charcoal. Wow, what a beautiful pair of mukluks! Fits well, soft and warm.

Best mukluks ever!

I absolutely love these! This was my second pair and I love them. I now have 4 more pairs and I can't wait to purchase more. These are so soft and comfortable. They kept my feet so warm this winter. I will definitely be back for more.

Beautiful, but sadly not as warm as I expected

The boots are very lovely beautifully made with bead work and quality soles. The fur is nice and soft. However, the insulating sheep skin base and inside boots them selves while comfortable aren’t very warm. Today in Omak, Wa it’s 21 degrees and my feet are cold in the boots. Very soft and beautiful but not enough insulating to keep my feet warm. I love them for their beauty just a bummer they sent warmer. I’m 5”2 and weigh 112 lb I usually wear an 8 but I found these boots sizes run large and I wish I would have purchased a 7 instead. I get many many many complements on my boots and I love them.
