Look great, don’t feel great

There are a lot of seams on the inside that haven’t been trimmed. Not nearly as comfortable as they should be.

Reason for returning Red River moccasins

I loved these moccasins, I returned them because I didn't understand they didn't come with hard soles. In looking at the information on your website I saw pictures of hard soles and I guess I got confused and thought the came with these soles. My wife and I cannot wear anything without hard soles because of our age. I bought them as a Christmas gift for her and I know she would have loved them as much as I except for us have foot problems. I thought the were the best looking slippers/ moccasins I have ever seen and the quality was unrivaled. If in the future these moccasins come with hard soles I would buy them. Sincerely, Don

Worse quality control of any product ever bought by me in 60 years

I previously bought two pair of moccasins which work well for my wife. I got these for winter wear and was flabbergasted at the product out of the box. First, it's made in Vietnam which fact you apparently deliberately conceal. The quality control is abominable; the shoes did not even look like they went together. They were clearly different sizes, the stitching was very sloppy, showing ridges across the top. The "sheepskin" honestly looks more like some kind of hair and is skimpy looking. I bought the same size as the previous moccasins which fit fairly well; with these one was too small and very uncomfortable, the other she can barely get it on and can't bear to wear it. I honestly believe most of the highly positive "reviews" you show for this product are bogus; they can't possibly be talking about this shoe. Needless to say I won't be ordering any more products from you, and I thoughtlessly threw away all the shipping material so will not be able to return, so it's a very expensive lesson for me.

Like, not love

I chose the Red Rivers because I preferred sheepskin to fur and wanted a minima sole. At first impression, these were so pretty out of the box. It is obvious they put care into the details and handcrafting. I was slightly disappointed but not surprised they turned out to be made in Vietnam though. I ordered a size 7 based off of the size chart and recommendation. They arrived very quickly. I know they were supposed to feel snug, but they felt too snug. This was my first pair of mukluks so I wasn’t sure of exactly what to expect. They were almost uncomfortably snug so I decided to order the size up to compare. My big toe reached the end of the shoe of the larger size but the rest of it was entirely loose. Since everything I read said they should be snug, I returned the larger pair and kept the smaller pair hoping they’d stretch like they’re supposed to. I very much appreciate how easy returns are from the US. They did stretch so I’m glad I kept the smaller pair, however the break in period was uncomfortable for me. It was painful at times. I should note that I am accustomed to wearing “barefoot shoes” so I love having wiggle room for my toes. I have been wearing my mukluks daily (pretty much all day since I stay home) for almost a month now and they are comfortable everywhere except my big toe. I am hoping they will stretch more in that area, but for now I have learned they will tell me when I need to trim my nails. They are so fitted that I noticed a difference before and after trimming my nails. They keep my feet toasty warm on my tile floors, which is why I bought them. I really wanted to love these, but because of the break in period, I will not be buying another pair once these wear out.

Great customer service

Purchased for a X-Mass gift for my wife. She loves your products. Your shipping is the best I've seen, 4 days from purchase date. I don't get that service anywhere in the States.
